walking by the Spirit" is not something we do in order to get the Spirit's help, but rather, just as the phrase implies, it is something we do by the enablement of the Spirit.

he Holy Spirit produces in us desires for God's way that are stronger than our fleshly desires, and thus he causes us to walk in God's statutes.

The Spirit leads us by creating desires to obey God, and we walk by fulfilling those desires in action.

Ezekiel 36:26, 27:

A new heart I will give you and a new spirit I will put within you . . . I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statutes.

The "fruit of the Spirit" is what appears in your life when you "walk by the Spirit." Therefore what we have in these verses are three images of the Spirit's work in our life: "walking by the Spirit" in verse 16, "being led by the Spirit" in verse 18, and bearing "the fruit of the Spirit" in verse 22.

Otsingul. Arvasin, et printsi otsingul. Aga mu printsil polnud konkreetset nägu ega tegu. Otsisn hoopis printsiga koosolemise tunnet. Jagamise, üheks olemise, läheduse ja mõistmise tunnet. Läägelt filmilik.
Aga võibolla polegi? Äkki on see iha minusse disainitud. Äkki polnud see ootus minus mitte selle pärast, et ma liiga palju "happy end" filme oleks vaadanud. Äkki ma lihtsalt olen selline, sest mind on nii loodud. Ja prints pole mingi mees nagu ma arvasin, vaid see tõeline PRINTS. Ja lähedus temaga on see mida taga ajanud olen.

Phil 3:7-11 

But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ (Kristuse tundmise kõike ületav väärtus) Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. 2 Pe 1:2-9

5For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. 8For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins. 

Jn 17:3 

Now this is eternal life: that they know you (ginóskó - come to know), the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.  

Eph 4:13

until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

2 Cor 10:5

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, 4for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. 5We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing (kõrkus) raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, 6and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete.

2 Cor 4:6

Ep 1:17-19

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit^f of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19and his incomparably great power for us who believe.
